People often mistake name card for business card. The distinction between the two is very clear. A name card only has the name of a person or company on it. Whereas, the business card has full contact details of the person as well as the main products and services mentioned thereon.
Clearly, a name card is used in situations when there is no need to provide the full contact details or mention about what the person or the company deals in. This could be possible in two situations. One, when the person does not want the contact details to be provided to the others and secondly, because the other person knows all about you or can recognize you only by name. This can be used along with the gift that is given to the other person or is sent to him or her.
Similarly, the organizations would like to get brochure printing done for providing the information to others about itself, its own products and services. This is essentially an exercise in informing people better about itself. The brochure printing can be done in different styles and formats. Brochures can be of one or multiple folds or even be in the book form. The brochures can also be used as catalogues of products which can be sent to the clients to enable them to order for the different models of the products or different packages of the services provided to them. There are different types of paper stock used for these. If there is a need to make more folds, then the lighter weight paper stock is used. However, if there is a need for these being used for a long time to come, then these are made in thicker paper stock. The latter is done to ensure that these remain long lasting.
Official stationary of the companies is yet another category of products which requires to be printed. Whether it is the letterhead or the envelope or even the notepad, there is a lot of material which needs to be printed for the company. Some of this could be called the official stationary but some other articles may not be official. The companies either use screen printing, digital printing or embossing/de-bossing techniques to get these articles printed in different feels and impressions.
Stickers are also used for marketing purposes. These can be glued on to the different surfaces and can be printed with different messages, ranging from the name and contact details (as in business card) to establishing the brand identity. Stickers can put on tags where there is need for displaying the changing information (like prices). These can even be used for labelling of different products. These are affixed on packaging materials and these are also used for advertising purpose when these are put on the morning newspapers.
